Happy Birthday To The Girl Scouts!

In 1912 women couldn’t even vote, but that Summer a young lady named Juliette Low gathered together a group of 18 girls and started what we know today as they Girl Scouts in Savannah, Georgia.  Today the Girl Scout movement is in 92 countries.  Most of us have met, know, or are raising Girl Scouts, and today’s troops are doing more than ever before.  If you are interested in becoming a Girl Scout leader, volunteer, or if you just want to get your kids involved in a troop you can find out all about it in the video.  Happy 106th Birthday Girls Scouts!  ~~  Patty Steele
