The Clydesdales Are Coming To The Coast

The Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to the coast.  February 6th through the 11th you have a chance to see them.  The public is invited to get up close with the horses during special viewing events at The Harrison County Fairgrounds.   On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9am until 2pm, and Monday the 11th from 9am until 3pm you can see The Clydesdales in person.

The Clydesdales have been a symbol of Budweiser since 1933.  They travel in teams of ten at least 10 months of every year.  The horses travel in a 50 foot trailer with rubber flooring and cameras to keep an eye on them while they are on the road.  Each night they stop at local stables.  They will parade in 4 coast cities starting Wednesday, February 6th.

In Biloxi on Wednesday the 6th the parade will begin at 5pm on the new Howard Avenue in downtown and make the first stop at City Hall.  Thursday the 7th the team will be at Keesler Air Force Base from 1 until 3pm.  They will parade from the Commissary to Class 6.  The Clydesdales will be in Gulfport on Friday the 6th with a parade starting at 5pm in downtown.  On Saturday the parade will start at 5pm in Bay St. Louis at The Depot through downtown.  On Sunday the 10th the crew will hitch starting at 2pm at Ocean Springs Front Beach and end at the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center.
