The King’s Christmas Display was originally hosted by the King Family from 1956 to 1995. I am so excited it’s coming back! I remember walking the King property drinking hot chocolate and looking at all the lights as a young girl. Many of the original decoration pieces belonging to Mary King are being used as the display comes alive once again this weekend. The original first Nativity scene will be on display. Many new items have been added to the display too. 15324 Three Rivers Rd, Biloxi is the address. Just put it in your GPS.
Children are invited to bring their letters to Santa to put in his mailbox in Santa village. Make sure to include a return address. Santa will be visiting on Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas. Complimentary coffee will be served to the adults, and candy canes for the children. Everyone is invited to come in and look around. Don’t forget to sign the register, and watch the dancing mothballs to see if you can find the singing birds in the tree.
Visit Pooh and friends in the 100 Acre Woods, and make a wish in Snow White’s wishing well. There’s also a piano if you would like to play some tunes. There is a large circular drive, with plenty of parking. A lit sign marks the drive. Wear your comfortable walking shoes. The King family invite you and your family to visit for the holidays, as thy bring this tradition back for all friends, new and old to enjoy. All of these were traditions started by Mrs. King. Go see the King’s Christmas Display. You won’t regret it! ~~ Patty Steele
